Duties include:
The client is looking for candidates with:

- Stock and portfolio analysis; balance sheet analysis
- Keeping up to date with ESG politics and how this impacts the portfolio
- Working on new ESG initiatives
- Evaluate proposed investments and recommend whether they are suitable for purchase.
- Making recommendations based on your findings to the lead fund manager
- Assist with internal and external presentations to enable the audience to gain a good understanding of the work of the department.
- Strong writing skills; discussing and publishing how world events affect the portfolio
- Maintain good relationships with market makers rating agencies and other third parties to extract best value from external research and advice.
- Assisting the lead fund manager in the day to day running of portfolios
- Deal implementation
- Modelling and pricing
- Speaking with clients on an ad-hoc basis
- Portfolio risk and rebalancing
The client is looking for candidates with:
- Solid degree from a first class university
- CFA qualified or equivalent (e.g. a ACA, ACCA, IMC, etc) (first time passes) favourable
- Together with the above you will be solidly numerate and have excellent time management skills required to meet deadlines. You will also have strong analytical skills together with the ability to gather information and use it to draw sound conclusions.

- Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm to explore new ideas and opportunities
- Hard working and highly motivated
- Strong communication skills
