We are currently looking for a driven and detail-oriented product development professional who is seeking to use their creative and technical skills and ideas to join our London Public Capital Markets (PCM) team within our Asset Management Division.

This role resides in the Public Capital Markets (PCM) team within International Client Business. PCM is responsible for facilitating product sales through product development, technical sales support, and delivery of market context and competitive insights to the International Client Business sales teams and intermediary clients serving retail, higher-net-worth, corporate retirement plans, and some direct institutional investors.

We are looking for an Associate/VP to join the London team.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
  • Participating in end to end product design, development and launch process.
  • Partnering with key stakeholder groups to develop new product ideas from both an investment and client perspective and convert them into effective products that seek to address clients' objectives.
  • Developing new product proposals for senior management, relevant internal committee and Board reviews.
  • Technical project management of new product design and structuring, changes to existing funds as well as analysis and implementation of other product initiatives (working with other teams including Investment Teams, Client Business, Legal, Tax, Compliance, Fund Services, Finance, Operations)
  • Participation in ongoing range management exercises to ensure product range remains competitive and in compliance with latest regulations.
  • Keeping abreast of major developments in the industry (i.e. regulations, tax, competition, etc.) that create new opportunities or challenges to our business.
  • Ongoing assessment and communication of product competitive positioning

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Preference for degree level education (or equivalent).
  • CFA studies beneficial but not essential.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience spent in a product development role focused on product design and structuring of funds domiciled in Luxembourg and Ireland. Experience with alternative products, including ELTIFs, would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of the European funds industry (e.g. markets, competitors) and regulatory environment (e.g. UCITS, AIFMD, ELTIF regulation).
  • Knowledge of how ESG considerations may be incorporated into investment processes and products as well as latest related European regulations, e.g. SFDR and Taxonomy.
  • Familiarity with different asset classes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills; ability to work under pressure and to meet multiple demanding deadlines.
  • Creative, innovative, attention to detail and proactive.
