Quality analytics are a critical component to the feedback loop, and something our clients expect. We focus on being students of technology and drive the design and implementation of the next generation of performance analysis and tools.

Are you passionate about solving problems, working with a diverse team, and finding connections between the dots? As a member of PMA, take part in the story and take ownership as a subject matter authority! We build upon a foundation in performance to provide investment and technology solutions with a purpose to help our clients and business partners meet their goals. The team levers technology and project management to improve existing processes that optimize data delivery and analysis. PMA always has the aim of aligning our performance attribution solutions with the evolving needs of our clients!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support internal analytical systems (Aladdin), and use them to investigate internal and external client inquiries, while supporting our growing business needs;
  • Partner on automation and development of existing performance and attribution related functions;
  • Display integrity and confidence when interacting with different teams - ability to take ownership, be knowledgeable of who is accountable for the quality and content of data and understand the data flows throughout the business.
  • Support PMA team members in cross functional learning processes and development.

Knowledge/Experience:
  • Understanding of Multi-Asset, Fixed Income and Equity instruments, and general performance attribution principles;
  • Ability to analyze large data sets, including design and testing methods in a fast-paced environment;
  • Passionate about learning new technologies, and eager to delving into Aladdin attribution;
  • A positive, get the job done demeanour, and are flexible to a constantly evolving environment.

Skills/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent; prior experience with business modeling techniques and/or attribution tools (CFA or CIPM designation a plus);
  • Show strong problem-solving acumen, an ability to synthesize information, summarize issues, and take initiative;
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for learning technical skills to assess risks accurately;
  • Experience analyzing and testing securities data, including classifications, sector schemas, and some level of securities investment analysis;
  • Display knowledge of accounting and pricing principles; experience with performance tools and external fund administrators a plus; exposure to SQL, Python, VBA or similar languages a plus.

Competencies:
