Key responsibilities include:
  • Evaluation and execution of M&A transactions undertaken by our client including buy-side transactions, sell-side transactions, joint ventures and partnerships and direct investment including liaison with clients, assistance in due diligence, preparation and negotiation of documentation including offer letters, sale and purchase contracts and public market documents;
  • Day-to-day project management of transactions and commercial projects, working with the Partners and interacting with clients, other external advisers and counterparties.
  • Supporting and running a number of strategic and commercial projects as required including new market entry strategies and material long term commercial agreements.
  • An ability to build from first principles complex financial models for the preparation of business cases, valuing assets and financial impact analysis;
  • An ability to undertake complex financial analysis including valuation (DCF; comparable companies; comparable transactions etc.), cash flow analysis, credit analysis and other similar analyses;
  • Preparing presentations for board Members and Senior Executives
  • Remain fully conversant with all capital market developments including M&A techniques, the Listing Rules, and other relevant regulatory or market developments.

Experience & Background
  • Valuation and corporate finance training and background including at least five to seven years of relevant work experience (e.g.investment banking, financial due diligence advisory/transaction support, business development in a corporation, private equity investment, strategy consulting,equity research etc), advanced academic training (e.g.,MBA,CFA, accounting qualification), and distinguished university education. 
  • Experience across all stages of acquisition execution is helpful, such as acquisition sourcing, initial evaluation, due diligence,sale and purchase agreement review and negotiation.
  • Comfortable working as part of a highly committed, lean and collegiate team with a focus on excellence.

  • Ability to operate independently, balanced with sufficient judgment and experience to know when to consult more senior staff

  • Enthusiasm to learn the issues surrounding a regulated and complex industry sector in rapidly evolving and dynamic markets worldwide.
  • Ability to balance wide-ranging o priorities to tight timeframes.

Location and Travel

They have offices in Las Vegas, Nevada and London. This role will be London based.

It is anticipated that the role could include between10-20%travel with trips lasting no longer than 3 to 4 days.
