(AM) Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the PMG investment teams on pre-execution due diligence relevant to both the investment case for acquiring the asset as well as to ongoing asset management considerations.

• Define future operating model, credit oversight requirements and value levers for newly acquired direct loans, loan portfolios, long income property assets and credit lending portfolio companies including definition and execution of a 100-day plan.

• Through the asset management planning process, partner with key stakeholders in developing key strategic and operational goals with appropriate KPIs / covenants / credit rating analysis.

• Alongside the Property Advisors oversee and document lease events and development fundings.

• Proactively monitor and assess asset performance versus those covenants / KPIs / credit rating methodologies as well as identifying and mitigating key risks.

• Owning and developing a network of key external stakeholder relationships such as legal, financial, tax, loan servicers and property managers.

• Where required, serve as a credit committee member, non-executive director and/or work alongside co-shareholders, JV partners or syndicates to manage lifecycle events and negotiating amendments to key documents.

• Contribute to and help drive the agenda and key discussion items at the relevant asset management committees and provide constructive challenge to other investment and asset management professionals.

Broader (PMG) Responsibilities

• Undertake coaching and mentoring of less senior members of PMG staff.

• Act as an internal and external ambassador for PMG including exhibiting and promoting the PMG Terms of Trade and USSIM cultural values.
  • Experience

• Extensive, demonstrable track record of asset management of privately-held Credit or property investments within a Credit or Commercial Finance setting (Private Equity, Property or Infrastructure experience, or in areas such as mortgage or CRE portfolio management, will also be considered)

• Likely to have worked in a similar role within: Credit Adviser, Rating Agency, REIT, Investment Bank, Commercial Bank, Pension Fund, Asset / Fund Manager, Financial Services' consultancy / transaction services.

. Experience within a Financial Services' consultancy / transaction services' organisation would be considered.

•.Both Credit and Property experience beneficial but not essential.

Skills and Technical Competencies

• Good understanding of credit and property investments, legal agreements and servicing

• Understanding of lending and property markets in terms of key originators and service providers

• Experience establishing credit origination platforms and property development is preferable

• Ability to deliver high quality work under constrained timelines

• Highly numerate (Accountancy / CFA qualification is considered advantageous but not a necessity)

• Great attention to detail

• Strong verbal and written communication

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player

• Self-starter with 'can do' attitude, highly organised and ability to prioritise
