Our client is a major international asset manager with over €21bn in AUM that is looking for an Analyst to join their private equity team. They pursue primary and secondary fund investments, as well as direct investments in developed economies (Europe, Asia and the US) focusing on the lower and middle market.
This is a rare opportunity to join an ambitious and growing team, that suits a driven and motivated candidate seeking their first buyside role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct sector based research projects to identify attractive investment opportunities
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of potential investments, including but not limited to financial modelling, valuation analysis an market research
  • Prepare investment recommendations and other internal documents that form part of the investment process
  • Assist with monitoring of existing investments and the preparation of internal reports, including quarterly valuations
  • Support the broader activities of the Private Equity team

YOUR PROFILE:
  • 2:1 or above undergraduate degree from a leading university (or equivalent national grade)
  • At least one year of work experience in areas such as transaction services, investment banking, M&A or management consulting
  • Experience working in a small and international team
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, including experience conducting financial valuation and LBO analysis
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English; fluency in another language is desirable
