Compliance Analyst - Asset Manager (9 Month FTC)

Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting Head of UK Compliance to manage FCA engagement including attending and documenting meetings; closing out FCA meeting actions; assisting the business to respond to surveys and critique responses before they are deemed fit to be presented to FCA.
• Participating in the development of writing new compliance policies and procedures.
• Supporting the Head of Conduct, Europe in respect of SMCR framework, Conduct, Certified and Senior Management crew to assist with SMCR-related queries.
• Advising, drafting, and maintaining key SMCR documents such as MRMs, SoRs, RSAs, and other relevant documentation.
• Advising and assisting in crew training of Conduct and SMCR administrative support to include providing technical input and advice.
• Providing technical support to maintain appropriate records in respect of SMF and Certified crew, through Accord system and supporting the annual certification process in respect of SMCR.
• Supporting Compliance and Conduct with the compilation and submission of regulatory registered persons applications, e.g. FCA SMFs.
• Supporting and assisting with the production and submission of management information.

Required:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 3 years business-related experience in an asset manager or investment house.
• Knowledge of FCA handbook and guidelines.
• Accord Software System knowledge preferable, but not essential.

Salary: £40,000 - £80,000 (9 month - Fixed Term Contract)
