KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION
The Asset Manager is responsible for:
- The day to day BAU management of the portfolio and appointed servicers in all aspects of the portfolio, covering resolution review and approval, management of servicer authorities and protocols, deployment of campaigns, strategies and tactics, etc.;
- Management of the performance of the portfolio in line with the Business plan;
- Reporting on the portfolio internally within the Fund, the Board, to Investors and to external parties such as audit;
- Development and implementation of appropriate strategies to create value through the lifetime of the portfolio;
- Preparation of and management within agreed business plans for the portfolio;
- Co-operation and collaboration in the development and implementation of best practice across portfolios and servicers;
- Travel as appropriate to the servicers in country in the management of the assets and servicer oversight.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 - 4 years of experience in the management of large granular NPL portfolio/s, preferably in the Spanish or S. European market, ideally including residential mortgages;
- Exposure to multiple European NPL markets including Spain, Portugal, Greece, UK and Ireland are a significant advantage;
- Experience in working with / for International Investors;
- Demonstrable track record of value maximization;
- Strong quantitative and technical skill in the modelling and analysis of portfolio's and preparation of Business Plans, presentations and reports;
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior managers and directors, peers & external partners, both orally and in writing;
- Ability to manage, influence and motivate servicers and their teams to achieve portfolio targets goals and objectives;
- Strong interpersonal skills and business relationship skills;
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team;
- Fluency with additional European languages (including any of Spanish, Portuguese, Greek, Italian) is considered an asset;
- Demonstration of our guiding principles of integrity, partnership and high performance.
EDUCATION
- A relevant degree or professional qualification from a recognised and established university;
- Other professional qualifications or accreditations, such as MBA are an advantage;
- Fluency in English and preferably in another European language.
