About our client
Our client is a private equity division of a renowned publicly listed global asset manager, with a track record of 10+ years. The business' key investment strategies focus on providing capital solutions to large private market managers via minority equity investments and/or long-term financing through senior secured loans.

The existing portfolio encompasses 50+ partnerships including 39 blue chip private equity firms. The unique feature of our client's approach is its strong value creation team of 40+ professionals that provides strategic support to partner managers with the overarching goal of helping them grow their enterprise value.

The firm is looking to bring on a motivated professional to join the London-based value creation team. The individual will act as a key support to the existing senior team and will have strong analytical skills as well as a solid understanding of the private equity industry. The candidate will be a self-starter, willing to act as a cornerstone to their team's success.
What the job involves
  • Track current and historical key metrics of partner managers
  • Collect and analyse data statistics from managers, summarize them into client-ready materials
  • Monitor and catalogue industry research and work on thought leadership whitepapers
  • Prepare key presentation materials
  • Collaborate with team members on LP intelligence projects and LP universe mapping
  • Drive LP data analytics using a variety of subscription databases
  • Monitor and maintain CRM
  • Work on client newsletters

Who we are looking for
  • 1-2 years of experience working in investment banking, management consulting, or asset management
  • Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record
  • Strong understanding or willingness to learn about the private equity industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Superior ability to synthesize and communicate complex information into a presentable format
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and fine-tuned attention to detail
  • Team-player attitude and a desire to work on a wide range of projects
