About our client
Our client is a well-known, prominent international real estate fund manager. The firm is seeing consistent growth since its launch and is now looking to add a driven, bright Analyst to its investor relations team in London.
What the job involves
In this role, you will support fundraising efforts, technical due diligence and will also help underwrite real estate transactions across a wide range of asset classes.
  • Produce marketing and due diligence materials, maintain the online data room and draft RFP and DDQ responses
  • Co-ordination of responses to technical and analytical requests from investors
  • Assisting in the due diligence process for new investments (notably real estate debt investments), reviewing investment recommendations and investment memorandums
  • Creating and updating asset level and fund level financial models, as well as performing financial analysis at portfolio level
  • Being part of weekly asset management/pipeline calls with senior members of the team and preparing financial analysis for the management team
  • Review quarterly reports and other ad-hoc bespoke reporting
  • Support the fundraising efforts for the ESG and whole loan vehicles of the firm's real estate credit business
  • Opportunity to work across other business areas within the firm - principal investment in both equity and real estate debt, as well as advise on the fundraising and capitalisation for some of the largest real estate companies globally
Who we are looking for
  • Prior work experience in investment banking, private equity or alternatives, asset management or investor relations/ placement agent is preferred
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office with excellent numeracy skills
  • Rigorous attention to detail under high-pressure
  • Ability to work independently across multiple projects under competing deadlines
  • Confident, strong team player with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, any other European language is desirable
  • Interest in the real estate sector and the interactions of domestic and international financial markets is highly beneficial
