With a specialist focus on the European NPL market, the Fund has enjoyed significant growth over the last couple of years, and AUM has grown to well in excess of $5bn. With this ambitious growth set to continue, the Fund is looking to bring in a new front office professional to support the growth in a role that sits in a small team, promising holistic exposure to senior management and the wider business from day one.

The role will be dynamic and the opportunity for growth will be immense. Areas of responsibility will cover three key areas; portfolio analytics, asset management and underwriting. Notable responsibilities will include:
  • Use insightful data analysis to support the firm's executives in a wide range of activities including underwriting, pricing, portfolio strategy definition and execution, business plan development and monitoring, servicer oversight, campaign development and tracking, reporting etc;
  • Stratify and analyse large data sets to identify historical performance trends, detect correlations, identify key drivers, trends and potential synergies across the firm's portfolios;
  • Support the preparation of underwriting models and portfolio business plans as well as internal reports and documents including investment proposals, monthly portfolio performance reporting, BoD presentation materials, documentation supporting portfolio business plans etc

Our ideal profile:

Excellent academic background
  • Someone coming from an Advisory or TS background in a professional services firm with two to four years' worth of exposure to the European NPL market. Wider financial services exposure will also be considered.
  • Financial modelling skills are essential
  • European language skills would be highly beneficial (Spanish, Portuguese, Greek, Italian)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the gravitas to deal with senior stakeholders on a daily basis

A competitive package is on offer with a salary in the region of £65,000-80000 depending on experience, and a bonus that will be in the range of c40% for the first year.
