Primary Responsibilities:
• Oversee pipeline and provide full event management services for marketing sponsorships and events (in-person, virtual and hybrid) across EMEA, targeting both institutional and wealth audiences
• Effectively collaborate with regional marketing, European sales, client portfolio managers and investment team members on event objectives, content and measurement
• Provide event support to the Director of Media Relations - Europe
• Work with marketing colleagues to develop integrated marketing plans for brand and event activations, including PR, social, content, client communications and marketing analytics
• Build strong relationships with third party event providers, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry events for the EMEA region
• Attend events, when necessary, to assist with logistics and host attendees
• Collaborate with colleagues in design, content and digital marketing to prepare marketing collateral
• Build event registration forms/microsites, coordinate invitation lists and manage registrations
• Project manage videos by collaborating with internal stakeholders, marketing colleagues and external vendors
• Provide ad-hoc consultancy services for internal events and board meetings, to ensure best practice and cost efficiency
• Work closely with in-house Corporate Services, AV and IT teams on event needs in the London office
• Work closely with the Compliance organization to ensure that all marketing events comply with internal and industry regulations
• Provide ad-hoc support to the broader Marketing team as required
Qualifications & Experience:
• Proven experience of marketing or events experience within asset management or financial services
• Bachelor's degree and/or event management qualifications is preferred
• Experience using CVENT or similar event registration platform is preferred
• Experience managing virtual events - ON24 and Zoom experience is preferred
• Strong project management skills, detail-oriented and ability to manage to deadline
• Team player with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks, deal with change and ambiguity, and work in a fast-paced environment
