The team is highly entrepreneurial and innovative in its approach to investing, focusing on the long-term value creation within the portfolio.

What the job involves

• Originating deals by chatting to advisors, screening leads and evaluating new investment opportunities
• Running the deal execution process including due diligence, financial and investment modelling, market research, project management and legal documentation process
• Managing deal pipeline reporting and analysis
• Working closely with portfolio management teams to ensure ongoing value creation and strategy implementation
• Building and managing key stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally

Who we are looking for

• Experience in an M&A, transaction services, restructuring or debt advisory team from an accounting firm or boutique advisory
• Strong interest in lower-mid market investing
• Previous exposure to private equity is helpful, but not a requirement
• You have an entrepreneurial mind-set
• Hands-on, pragmatic and goal-oriented
• You have excellent communication and presentation skills
• The ideal candidate would also be a chartered accountant
