The Role
TxB's Partnerships team is responsible for developing, executing, and managing partnerships and strategic initiatives for the business. The partnerships team drives the sourcing, design and execution of high-impact, cross-functional initiatives across new products and geographies. These partnerships have the objective of maximizing commercial value, client acquisition and product trajectory with a significant impact on the Transaction Banking business through strategic partnerships. We are looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial partner strategist with strong product instincts and experience working with cross-functional and geographic teams to manage and grow our external partner portfolio.

Principal responsibilities include:
  • Manage all aspects of developing and executing external partnerships, including:
    • Identify new opportunities to create and scale net new business partnerships
    • Lead exploratory conversations with potential partners, as well as evaluate and develop business opportunities
    • Source, structure and negotiate deals with existing and new partners in pursuit of product and business objectives
    • Track, analyze, influence and communicate key metrics to support ongoing partnership management
    • Develop and execute post-contracting go-to-market strategy
    • Ongoing governance of partnerships including regularly communicating insights and strategic recommendations to all stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Product, Sales and Strategy leads to create and execute strategic partnership strategies that align with product and business goals and create framework to implement and manage these strategies
  • Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure all deals and business development is executed in accordance with policies, controls, key functional partners and corporate development procedures
  • Drive initiatives to help solve client needs and help achieve our partner's goals
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Basic Qualifications
  • Prior experience: ~6-10 years' experience in a client / partner facing role defining and executing partnership strategies with significant internal and external dependencies
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience across digital banking, financial services or payments
  • Can handle ambiguity in a fast-moving organization, and thrives on a high level of autonomy and responsibility
  • Prior transaction banking experience would be a preference
