Our client is a newly formed investment platform, backed by one of the world's largest institutional fund managers. They are looking for an Investment Manager to join its Globally focused investment team, based in London. This role will focus on originating and evaluating new investments, as well as playing a key role in managing operational assets. The platform will focus on investing in sustainable and clean power assets across onshore wind, solar PV and battery storage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Full deal process, from origination through to execution and portfolio management
• Evaluate new investment opportunities, produce deal screening reports, considering returns in the context of identified risks, how these can be managed and other mitigating factors
• Complete each stage of the transaction process
• Prepare investment papers detailing new opportunities to the Investment Committee
• Assist in the preparation of transaction contracts- reviewing and assisting negotiations of contractual terms
• Travel to project site as part of the investment evaluation process

YOUR PROFILE:

• Prior experience, in a transaction role, from an investment bank, private equity investor, a fund manager, industrial or in a corporate finance team at one of the big 4 accountants, where the underlying focus has been driven by optimization
• Experience of renewables/energy/infrastructure M&A is preferred
• Financial modelling experience
• Top-ranked performer within your peer group
• Experience in investing in Emerging Markets is preferred
