Fixed Income Fund Manager Research Analyst

We are working with a quality boutique investment house in London to recruit a Research Analyst with around 5 years' experience. The successful candidate will join an established investment team to focus on manager research, asset allocation and portfolio construction for fixed income funds.

The team mostly invests into funds (across equity, fixed income and alternatives), making up multi-asset portfolios, with the ability to look at third party managers in any region globally. There is also scope to look at high quality individual equity or credit names for direct investing.

This role is particularly interesting as the successful candidate will be able to take on portfolio monitoring and trade implementation, as well as fund monitoring and strategy selection. They will able to source new ideas to be included in the multi-asset portfolios so a genuine passion for in-depth research is required as the firm prides itself on the level of due diligence undertaken when assessing new managers.

Applicants should have 3-5+ years' experience in researching external fund managers, with some of this experience being within fixed income. They should be familiar with asset allocation and ideally portfolio construction.

We would welcome applicants from asset management, investment consulting, or private banking (assuming this from a fund research team) backgrounds.
