Department overview:

Strategic & Regulatory Change (SRC) is a new team within Wholesale Operations and Technology which owns the end-to-end delivery of strategically important, large / complex initiatives, plus management of the overall Change-the-Bank (CTB) portfolio.

SRC is organised into two main pillars:
  • Portfolio Management & Strategic Planning - This covers portfolio delivery governance, investment governance and overall strategic change planning
  • Mission Critical Initiative Delivery - Team of Change Managers who own the delivery of priority initiatives, which are typically end-to-end, high value or problematic. This application of pragmatic change standards and best practise


Key Responsibilities and objectives critical to success:

The Test Manager for Client Life Cycle Management (CLM) Programme will be responsible for End-to-End Test Management. The CLM programme aims to transform the client lifecycle journey, through process harmonization and digitalization, utilizing best in breed Fintech solutions, enabling significant client service and cost reduction benefits
  • Responsibility for defining, maintaining and executing a well-defined End to End Test Strategy
  • Build and Maintain Testing plans with appropriate level of detail. Comfortable challenging teams to ensure plans are realistic and achievable
  • Oversight and/ or execution responsibility of all phases of Testing
  • Driving Testing across multiple teams in Technology and Business, ensuring the project delivers committed outcomes in the agreed timelines
  • Working collaboratively and supporting teams, including active problem solving and management of any risks or issues that arise during delivery.
  • Proactively managing and addressing any Testing conflicts, dependencies and scope changes
  • Hands on interaction with development, BA and Business teams to ensure a detailed understanding of Testing Approach and Execution status
  • Monitoring and providing an honest, transparent assessment of Testing progress with timely reporting of status, issues, risks to various management team and governance forums as appropriate
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt approach to stakeholder groups and different levels of seniority across the organization as well as ability to present complex problems in a simple way to drive quick and effective decision making
  • Ensuring adherence to Project & Testing governance and control processes throughout the project delivery


Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

Essential
  • 7+ years Test Management experience across large complex projects at a financial institution
  • Good knowledge of Test Management best practice and expertise in using Test Management Tools and Frameworks
  • Solid understanding of the Wholesale Client Onboarding and KYC lifecycle
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt approach to different levels of seniority
  • Experience working with technology teams to deliver complex solutions across multiple business areas, functions and locations
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness of delivery
  • Track record of managing requirements, delivery and testing in a fast paced environment
