An elite Hedge Fund are working exclusively with Referment. They have had an impressive performance across the buy-side markets and are going through an exciting phase of growth. They have an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer (Python/C++) to come join their Natural Language Processing (NLP) team, which will involve working with quant researchers to build NLP systems using state of the art technologies.

This role will see the successful applicant work on research systems, that will analyse equity focussed alternative data. It will require strong skills in Python or C++ and experience in CI/CD tools like TeamCity and Jenkins. This role will see you work with NLP systems and automate the data processes. These systems will be critical within this Hedge Fund and will give them a competitive edge across the Equities market and enhancing the wider firms Investment process.

Key Requirements:

- A minimum of 5 years experience in software engineering with Python or C++
- A Computer Science degree
- Passionate about working with the latest technologies
- Experience in delivering CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to cloud technologies and strong knowledge of TeamCity, Jenkins or Azure DevOps
- Experienced with Kubernetes and Databricks - Advantageous
- Worked within the financial markets - Advantageous
