Who we are looking for
The Segment Marketing Lead role sits within the Segments and Solutions Marketing team to drive segment marketing insights and strategy and implementation for two of our client segments - Insurance and Alternatives (hedge funds, private equity, real estate).

This Role can sit in either Boston or London

In this full-time position, you serve as the main point of contact for the client segments teams, including global and regional business, product and sales leads.

You will be developing and implementing long- and short-term marketing strategies (including marketing and communication activities and integrated theme campaigns). You will be required to work with the wider marketing team members and business unit/sales teams to define marketing objectives and plans, and execute on those plans.

The broad scope of tasks requires you to interact with various departments, coordinating the efforts of marketing team members and, if necessary, third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver the projects according to plan.

As a successful candidate, you are highly organized, a proactive team players who brings positivity and continuous support to those around them. Stakeholder management, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into value-based narratives and sales enablement tools is crucial.
As a global role working across multiple divisions, your ability to collaborate, foster relationships and suggest solutions is essential.

What you will be responsible for
  • Stakeholder Management - Work with business stakeholders to identify key revenue drivers that align to our client segment needs and require marketing support, with a specific focus on Insurance and Alternatives
  • Insight - Drive market, competitor and client analysis to proactively determine and differentiate our segment marketing messaging and approach
  • Positioning - develop messaging and content that clearly articulates value, benefit and differentiation of our products in the market .
  • Go-to-market - Collaborate with business, product and sales leads, and the broader marketing team to develop and deliver end-to-end go-to-market strategies to support product, solution and segment propositions for top revenue drivers. Utilise thought leadership to drive our position as the 'go-to source' for key market developments and enhance awareness of our strategic propositions
  • Sales Enablement - Communicate the value proposition of our Insurance and Alternatives segments, go-to-market plans and sales assets available to the client segment teams

What we value
These skills will help you succeed in this role:
  • Prior relevant marketing and communications experience, preferably in a B2B and / or financial services organization. Background in Insurance and / or Alternatives would be seen as a plus.
  • Experience managing marketing projects: online communications, events, brand/advertising, editorial, partnerships/sponsorships. This entails a good understanding of all marketing channels, including digital and social media
  • Strong writing skills
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills when dealing with customers (internal or external) is preferred
  • Working in matrix structures and cross cultural environments with an ability to operate on their own, as part of a team and globally
  • Ensuring that the highest level of the integrity and ethical behavior is continuously adhered to
  • Flexible hours may be required to manage projects across regions / time zones

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree required
