We're looking for two BAs to join our DWP Digital community.

We have one role working on Child Maintenance Services

In this role you'll help us help run and maintain products and services that improve outcomes for children.

The other role is working in our Intelligent Automation Garage (IAG).

IAG use the latest automation and cloud technologies to support Digital transformation and improve colleague/customer experiences.

These are both Agile multidisciplinary teams which use the latest tech, tooling and thinking to transform the way DWP delivers products and services, so they're easier to access and more efficient to run. Both offer really fertile ground for a Business Analyst to make an impact

We want you to be at your best in these important roles, so we'll invest in your development and your career.

And you'll have chance to manage our junior BAs, develop your leadership skills, and share your knowledge and experience with the BA leaders of the future.

DWP. Digital with Purpose.

We're working on stuff that is genuinely massive. And we're driven by a unique and extraordinary purpose.

  • You'll join the biggest, best established BA community of practice in UK government with access to all the support and learning you need to be a better BA and grow your career.
  • 1bn lines of code in over 12,000 code repos and 90+ programming languages. We run around 294 days' worth of testing every day through automation.
  • Over 22 million people - 1/3 of the UK's adult population - access our services daily.
  • Over 110,000 colleagues and agents use the kit, tools, and systems we roll out within DWP.
  • We're one of the biggest payers in Europe with over £195bn payments made annually.

What you'll need to be successful

  • Leading business analysis activities within complex projects/environments.
  • Using a wide range of tools and techniques to identify improvements and make recommendations.
  • Working collaboratively within an agile environment to deliver the best outcomes.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Supporting colleagues to take responsibility for their own learning and development.
  • The sift panel will use the information in your employment history and personal statement to assess your experience, skills and knowledge against the essential criteria above.

Details. Wages. Perks.

You'll join us in our Newcastle-upon-Tyne digital hub.

Our hybrid working offer means you can work from home about 60% of the time.

We offer flexible hours, and flexible working so you can do your job in a way that works for you.

Pay for this role is up to £59,589
