Join the Macquarie Investment Management business in efforts focused on global impact and sustainable investing. Here, you will provide research to help identify companies that are making a positive impact through their products, services and/or actions and actively engage with portfolio companies. You will also help to develop and maintain Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) measurement tools as well as communicate with internal and external parties.

As an Impact and Sustainability Analyst, you will assist in the development and maintenance of internal measurements to help identify and assess the impact of public securities in contributions to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, as well as the establishment and achievement of climate mitigation targets. There will also be the need to support Macquarie Investment Management's active ownership policies through engagement with portfolio companies as well as the monitoring and implementation of the Group's global proxy voting guidelines. You will have the opportunity to contribute to thought leadership on topical Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) issues and represent Macquarie Investment Management on external responsible investment organizations when needed.

There will be a need to assist in upcoming European Sustainable Financial Disclosure Requirements (SFDR) reporting; monitor the investment portfolios for compliance with Macquarie Group's Environmental, Social Risk policies; and provide input for annual Principles for Responsible Investment reporting.

Relevant qualifications for the role would include 5 - 7 years equity investment experience (including 3-5 years of experience in sustainable investing) in a professional, academic, or voluntary setting; top-notch writing and presentation skills; and strong quantitative skills with a desire to conduct independent research. An MBA and/or CFA is preferred.

If you have a passion for sustainable investing and intellectual curiosity to continuously add to subject expertise in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, then we would love to hear from you.
