We are working with a large, global investor and asset manager which is looking to expand its Real Estate investment team by adding an Analys/Associate to its team in London. The group invests in a variety of real estate strategies - including performing assets, development projects and even non-performing loan portfolios - and is keen to bring someone on board who has a strong understanding of, and exposure to, transactions in this space.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • You'll be responsible for the evaluation and execution of transactions across the Real Estate spectrum
  • You will take ownership of the financial modelling of transactions as well as spearheading the commercial assessment of deal opportunities
  • You will work closely with senior management of the lean team on a daily basis to decide where to deploy capital most appropriately
  • You will have some responsibility for post acquisition portfolio management and monitoring to ensure the ongoing strong performance of all new and previously made investments

YOUR PROFILE:
  • You must have Analyst/Associate level experience from one or more of the following environments - principal investing, the modelling/valuations team of a big 4 or similar profile accounting firm, or investment banking
  • You should have strong technical financial modelling experience as well as excellent commercial acumen
  • You must have prior real estate experience and be motivated to work in a real estate focused environment
  • Fluency in an additional European language is advantageous but not essential
