Analyst, Strategic Initiatives at Checkout.com

Checkout.com is actively seeking a driven and intellectually curious Analyst to join our growing Strategy Team in London or New York! This role will support high priority strategic initiatives, working with partners across the company to develop, plan and implement Checkout.com 's vision and strategy.

This person will be deeply analytical, data driven and proactive with excellent communication skills. An ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in an exciting fast paced environment will be key!

About you:
    • Analytical/strategic thinker - excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skills and ability to see the big picture
    • Strong communicator (verbal and written) - ability to clearly synthesize information and articulate insights
    • Data driven with strong attention to detail
    • Intellectually curious
    • Team oriented and collaborative - capable of building a strong rapport with stakeholders
    • 1-3 years total experience in investment banking/investing, management consulting or corporate strategy is preferred
    • Experience in Fintech and Payments is a plus, but not required
What you'll be doing:
    • Conduct comprehensive market and financial analysis to:
    • Evaluate business opportunities and present recommendations to senior leaders on market, product and competitive strategy (examples include geographic expansion, new products/services and segment opportunities such as Crypto)
    • Help the company scale by supporting key leadership decisions on which markets, products and opportunities to prioritize and where to focus resources
    • Conceptual and creative problem solving to tackle complex and high priority challenges and opportunities the business is facing
    • Financial modeling and quantitative analysis to support commercial, product and pricing strategy and financial planning
    • Strategic planning and implementation - operationalize and implement strategies by developing a plan and turning it into action
