Our client, a leading early-stage investment fund is looking to hire a Finance & Administrative Analyst to join its small but impressive team. The company have a particular focus on start-ups and growth companies with a well-defined market demand that exhibits both growth and profit potential. The funds very impressive portfolio already includes some well-established high-street brands and online apps, which they are looking to further add to over the next couple of years. The role will have exposure to various areas of the business including group finance, investor relations, fund accounting, deal structuring and compliance. This position provides a rare opportunity to work closely with the Senior Partners within a well-established private equity fund.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist the fund accounting team in collating information
  • Acting as the intermediary between the fund, portfolio companies and legal experts to ensure a smooth process for all parties
  • Handling all supplier invoices in a timely and efficient manner
  • Running KYC and AML checks on all new investors
  • Managing all new investor onboarding processes
  • Producing and distributing co-investment paperwork
  • Coordinating due diligence from founders prior to signing of deals and guiding them through the investment process
  • Taking ownership of a weekly agenda on deal flow, fund calculations and expected cashflow from incoming fees and investor applications
  • Responding to all investor queries

YOUR PROFILE:
  • Previous experience within financial services or the private investment industry is beneficial
  • Previous financial, investment support or accounting experience would be advantageous
  • Highly numerate with advanced excel skills
  • A keen eye for the detail with the confidence to raise questions when required
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
