The team
The Data Management group comprises 4 teams, Client & Portfolio (C&P), Data Services, Index/Benchmark and Pricing data. The group is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of data to facilitate the Investment and client reporting processes.

What you'll be like
The Data Management group comprises 4 teams, Client & Portfolio (C&P), Data Services, Index/Benchmark and Pricing data. The group is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of data to facilitate the Investment and client reporting processes.
What you'll do
- Set up and maintenance of security reference data in our global Trading Platform (Aladdin) and central Security Master (MEDM) as required for the Investment, Distribution, Portfolio Services and Risk/Legal/Compliance teams.
- Monitor and answer security data queries from stakeholders.
- Run daily tasks for the accurate maintenance and quality control of the security data within our systems.
- Continued development of quality control checks to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Working closely with Data Services colleagues in Singapore and New York.
- Run automated UDTs and look for improvements and new ways to automate processes with UDTs using such tools as VBA, Python and Power BI.
- Monitor Cash breaks assigned to Data Services by Reconciliation and correct security data where applicable.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
- Degree or equivalent or previous Data Management or Operations experience
- Have a broad understanding of Securities (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives)
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills i.e. Excel, Word, Powerpoint
- Good communication skills- written, presentational and verbal
The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help
- IOC/IMC
- Previous Security Reference Data or Pricing Analyst experience
- Experience of using Data Vendors i.e. Bloomberg, Refinitiv Eikon, ICE (IDC)
- Experience of Aladdin, Eagle Star PACE, MEDM
- Experience with VBA, Python, Power BI
