An exciting opportunity has come up to join a well-established and international bank. My client is looking for their next Business Analyst Instant Messaging to join their team based in Edinburgh over a 6-12-month duration period (depending on how long project lasts).

Responsibilities
- Support the delivery execution of the Instant Messaging project across MSS
- Draft business requirements documents including rules and solution working with regional and business stakeholders
- Get the functional requirements signed off from business. Factor in other non-functional requirements such as process flow and policy/procedure changes to be incorporated in the target operating model, working with compliance and other cyber security SMEs
- Discuss and agree success criteria against requirements and proactively ensure that delivery is aligned to these criteria by validating appropriate use cases and test cases liaising with DBS/ITID/Cyber security/Legal teams
- Support UAT phase by engaging right business stakeholders, capture results and manage status reporting in appropriate forums
- Provide meaningful insights through data analysis and build artefacts required for executive meetings.
Skills and qualifications
- Demonstrated experience of working on project implementations in the Compliance / Risk / Regulatory arena
- Experience and knowledge of first line non-financial / financial risk management
- A good understanding of the regulatory landscape in a markets environment (desirable)
- Understanding of the regulatory need to physically and digitally segregate investment banking businesses
- Proficient in drafting and validating business requirements, drive change and facilitate User Acceptance Testing
- Excellent analysis skills, with ability to structure problems and find solutions
- Ability to facilitate decision making process and to drive implementation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & Clarity
- Strong analytical, written and project management skillset
- Excellent communication skills at all levels (both written and oral)
