Job Purpose Statement

To assess and manage the quality and readiness of new and enhanced technology services into CTI's production environment. This will be achieved working with project, business customer, development, infrastructure and production service operations teams through the development lifecycle to ensure production readiness.

Role Responsibilities

Where you'll fit in & what our team goals are....
  • Work with project managers, development teams and production operations peers to ensure that service changes have met all operational readiness acceptance criteria prior to submission for approval and implementation into production.
  • Serve as an expert on operational readiness and change processes, providing guidance and support to enable change delivery teams to comply with all enterprise and technology standards.
  • Validate business outcomes are met, through a deep understanding of the business requirements and at each phase of a project or change initiative.
  • Ensure solutions are fully integrated into business-as-usual activities undertaken by the production operations team.
  • Ensure systems are documented within the configuration management (CMDB) aswell as application support models, SLA's, escalation paths and other technology control framework (TCF) documents required for audit.
  • Ensure regular reporting is delivered on the operational readiness status for projects moving through the development lifecycle.
  • Monitor post production performance of services delivered during the defined warranty period and report statistics to the Head of Production IT Operations.
  • Feedback lessons learned to project teams and drive improvements of internal processes/procedures for future change.
  • Maintain current expertise in ITIL methodologies and tools to help drive continuous improvement in delivery of technology services and controls


Key Capabilities

How you'll spend your time....
  • Experience working with team using both Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
  • Experience of utilising ITIL Transition methodologies or supporting applications in a complex, multi-platform environment, preferably in financial services sector
  • Good all round technical knowledge of Applications, Databases, and Infrastructure both on-prem and on cloud based.
