My client, a well-known Investment Bank, are looking to bring on-board an experienced Technical Business Analyst/Project Manager with a working knowledge of instrument reference data and market data as well as an understanding of system integration is required to lead the downstream adoption of the new Market Data platform. This is a hands-on role that requires collaboration with the existing project team and downstream systems to complete the build, assess downstream impact and manage downstream changes and testing

Key responsibilities:
- Ownership of adoption of new platform by downstream systems
- Engagement with downstream systems to ensure work is prioritised
- Impact assessment with each downstream system to understand impact of new platform and associated changes
- Using business analysis skills to identify and understand the root cause of issues identified during testing
- Understand, document and manage publishing requirements
- Tracking of downstream changes
- Testing new interfaces with each downstream system
- Managing a backlog of issues that need to be resolved
- Management and execution of testing with downstream systems
- Ensure environments for integration testing are available when required
- Document environment requirements for regulatory parallel run
- Ensure required environments are set up in time for the parallel run
- Assisting projects through the full software development life cycle from requirements gathering, solution design, all stages of testing and finally deployment
- Build and maintain and strong domain knowledge of the Risk and Technology architecture from a business perspective. Understanding how systems interact with each other and how data flows through those systems
