As a Barclays Programme Manager, you'll join the Barclays Security Shield (BSS) Programme and be responsible for the successful management and delivery of information security, cyber security and physical security programs within the CSO Portfolio. This role is ideal for you to showcase your skills of managing and coordinating a programme of work including interdependencies, risks and issues, escalating as appropriate to the Programme Director and other key stakeholders.

What will you be doing?
• Managing and tracking benefits realisation for their programme by ensuring change is formally accepted into business as usual
• Ensuring programmes are being managed via and are compliant with the central ePMO function's directives, initiatives and change handbook
• Ensuring that all project and programme status reporting is accurate, informative, and timely, and directly provides progress reports to the CSO Programme Director
• You will be responsible for the successful delivery of programmes within the CSO Portfolio to plan, budget, and agreed quality and governance standards
• Overseeing project managers across the full delivery lifecycle, supporting from business case to initiation, requirement analysis, design, build, testing, implementation, and closedown
• Managing and co-ordinating a programme of work including interdependencies, risks and issues, escalating as appropriate to the CSO Programme Director and other key stakeholders
• Constructing programme business cases ensuring outcomes and benefits are defined, agreed and tracked with Accountable Executives
• Controlling the scope of programmes and projects, ensuring that rigorous change control is exercised

What we're looking for:
• Working knowledge and experience of managing programmes and projects within a formally recognised framework such as MSP, Prince2, Agile and PMI
• Experienced at implementing or managing risk management processes and tools; actively seeks ways to understand, mitigate, or reduce risks, drawing on expert advice, risk assessment, and management reports
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and influencing skills able to work with stakeholders (incl. CISO, Product Owners, Service managers) and 3rd party vendors
• Exceptional track record of project and programme management

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Proven track record of working in the Financial Services Industry
• Demonstrable security awareness and understanding of security in the broad business context
• Formal external qualification/accreditation to MSP, Agile, Prince2 or PMI methodologies and in addition some level of ITIL Service Management experience
• Experience of working on Information or Cyber Security projects and programmes

You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations.
