Associate - M&A Execution and Metals & Mining M&A - bulge bracket

As an Associate in the EMEA M&A team, your main responsibilities will include:

Support in execution of mandated transactions in Metals & Mining (working in close collaboration with high level and very senior bankers): Interacting with clients and various levels of management, and acting as an integral part of the execution team.
Creating marketing materials: Creating investment banking marketing materials such as pitch books, teasers, information memorandums and management presentations
Financial analysis: Demonstrating advanced modelling skills to help prepare and audit corporate finance, valuation, financing and accounting analysis
Teamwork: In addition to building & maintaining relationships within the M&A team, you will be expected to engage effectively with colleagues across businesses/products/countries and work collaboratively in a global context
Ability to multi-task: Proactively work with project team to prioritisetasks and schedule time effectively

Requirements:

Previous 3-6 years' investment banking experience (wirth Metals & Mining exposure)
The position requires a self-confident person who is highly motivated and reliable, with strong team spirit and outstanding work ethic
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
High proficiency in financial modelling and valuation
