Sales Support and RFP Content Writer

Goodman Masson has recently been approached by a leading investment advisory specialist firm to source a Sales Support and Content Writer in a newly created role based in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an RFP and Business development professional who is looking for direct client engagement exposure. This is a full time, permanent opportunity within a growing Global Business Development team dedicated to developing the firm's Institutional remit.

The responsibilities of the role include:

• Working as a key member of the Global Business Development team to support new business opportunities through the delivery of high quality proposals and presentations
• Prepare RFPs with the support of Investment directors for both new and existing clients
• Engage with clients and become involved in select meetings
• Conduct research on target markets, prospective clients, competitors and industry trends
• Guide new clients through the full sales cycle
• Build strong and healthy internal network with key stakeholders
• Creatively build your external investor network by participating in investment conferences and networking events
• Improve your investment and intellectual curiosity by keeping up to date with industry trends and news
• Be flexible and put your hand up for ad hoc projects

Skills and qualifications:

• RFP, Business Development or Sales support experience ideally from an investment management or investor consultancy/advisory environment
• Understanding of private markets and ability to build a network or opportunities in this space
• Solid understanding of the institutional investment market and key trends within investment management
• Project management experience and a self starter who isn't afraid to lead on tasks
• Ability to build solid working relationships through clear communication
• German speaking ability is highly desirable
• Ambitious, isn't afraid to show initiative and participates in company wide projects
