The Head of Marketing will sit on the Institutional UK and Global Leadership teams, as well as my client's Global Marketing Leadership team. You will directly manage a team, and will be responsible for budget, messaging, channel strategy and execution.

Key Objectives:
  • You will support the revenue goals of the business by driving brand aware leads into the pipeline, utilising a multi-channel marketing approach
  • You will work closely with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts throughout the business to evolve and craft our value proposition and differentiators
  • You'll drive digital marketing campaigns, including leveraging marketing technology platforms and data analytics to optimise marketing effectiveness and impact
  • Increase our brand footprint through content-driven strategies and researched-based thought leadership
  • Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and industry trends in order to translate results into actionable insights for marketing team
  • You will oversee the marketing department, consistently identifying revenue opportunities within our established client base and managing consistent growth by securing new opportunities and clients

What you'll do:
  • You will lead the development of our marketing plans, working closely cross-functionally with Sales, Service, Executive Management, creative and content teams, and other applicable stakeholders to create an effective and efficient marketing strategy focused on driving growth and revenue opportunities
  • Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns, including design of test/control data segmentation, implementation of tests, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and recommendations
  • You'll manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plan and strategies and promotional programs, including delivery across digital, events, telemarketing, advertising, PR and RFP channels
  • Manage a budget with a commercial focus and awareness of seasonal tilts
  • Be accountable for the output of the marketing and RFP teams, working with global partners to execute creative and distribution in the most effective way possible
  • You will be responsible for designing, overseeing and managing the roll-out of content strategy to support marketing and sales objectives
  • Hold regular meetings with management to review pipeline, resolve challenges, and present possible solutions, and provide ongoing training to ensure the team consistently performs above standard
  • You will participate as a key member of the my client's Marketing Leadership Team and the Institutional Leadership Team, collaborating across groups to drive overall business growth and success
  • All of my client's employees are responsible for the identification, assessment and control of risks and risk events. Employees will maintain a good understanding of applicable policies, procedures, risk appetites and tolerance relevant to their function and or business unit, and are expected to consider current and potential risks when making or informing business decisions. Employees are responsible for the accurate and timely escalation and recording of incidents associated to relevant risks. In addition, employees are responsible for completing all required Risk Management training.

What you'll bring to the role:
  • Knowledge and expertise managing marketing programs, including content automation, social media, advertising, SEO/SEM, data analytics, etc
  • Experience with data integration and analysis, including developing business insights from internal and external research/reporting systems (including CRM systems)
  • Proven track record of developing B2B marketing measurement frameworks and ROI analysis
  • Strong marketing knowledge: CIM or IDM qualifications desirable
  • Strong technical knowledge of investment industry, solutions, asset classes and investment styles.
  • A very high standard of written and spoken English, with excellent attention to detail
  • Skilled project and people manager, with the ability to work flexibly and manage multiple deadlines
  • Applicable industry qualification such as Investment Management Certificate (IMC) / equivalent qualification or a commitment to complete such qualification
