Pricing and Insights Manager
Opportunity to join a global FMCG business as the Pricing and Insights Manager, acting as a conduit between Sales, Finance, and Marketing, assisting the business towards its short and long term ambitions. Supporting monthly performance reviews and advising on promotional plans, developing 3 year pack-price-architecture plans to deliver volume, sales and margin growth.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Identify growth opportunities leveraging consumer, retailer and competitor insights
- Develop pack, pricing and promotional plans to address opportunities
- Model volume and financial implications of different strategic options
- Manage and optimise plans to drive in-year growth
- Optimise promotional investment across retailers and brands
- Owning the price and promotion policies
- Drive analysis and decisions to course correct performance
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years consulting (strategy or insight) experience
- Financial analysis experience
- High level of numerical and analytical skills - Excel modelling
- Ability to extract key messages from complex data
- Knowledge of price and promotions principles within the retail sector is highly desirable
