Financial & Regulatory Reporting Accountant [12-Months Temp]

Goodman Masson have partnered with a growing Financial Services business based in London to assist with their search for an experienced Financial & Regulatory Reporting Accountant for an initial 12-Month paternity cover contract.

In this role you will provide support for the Regulatory Reporting department in all matters mostly relating to accounting standards and also on the regulatory reporting requirements.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in providing financial & liquidity data to the Risk department for inclusion in the ILAAP and RRP
• Preparing the Pillar lll disclosures including schedules within specific timescales
• Updating the regulatory reporting policy with the new changes
• Be the subject matter expert on all accounting policies and standards
• Implement policies and procedures to manage the production of high quality statutory financial and regulatory deliverables to both internal and external stakeholders in compliance with IFRS & regulatory reporting requirements
• Assist in preparation of the statutory accounts for various Group entities including Investment funds
• Assist in performing detailed analysis of the accounting, regulatory capital and liquidity impact of new products and business initiatives

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
• Strong technical knowledge & exposure to IFRS, FRS and CRR
• Experience of the following systems would be advantagous: FRS, MUREX, FLEXCUBE, ORACLE
