The role:

To deliver Investment Consultancy & Mezzanine services both virtually and face to race from Head Office into the Partnership to achieve team business objectives. Utilising strong market, Investment and propositional knowledge/skill to help Partners gain and retain business whilst building their knowledge/skill around the following areas - articulating the investment proposition, discussing investment processing, advice, markets and portfolio positioning and activity.

What you'll be doing:
  • Deliver expert Investment market, technical, skills and propositional development support/consultancy so that Partners remain fully equipped to acquire and successfully service new and existing clients. This may include one to one development sessions, workshops, peer groups and presenting at location meetings to large groups, leading with digital interventions.
  • Create engaging Investment market, technical and propositional multi- media collateral to promote and inform Partner, Client, and wider business thinking - Be seen as a thought leader and expert commentator.
  • Provide expert technical Investment support to other departments to enable them to meet their objectives e.g. Private Client Team, Client Liaison and Business Assurance.
  • In conjunction with the Change and Technology Teams across the Investment and Technology Divisions, be aware of the systems that can support Partner and client engagement and servicing and promote their adoption within the Partnership.
  • Assist the Investment Support Manager with leadership oversight and operational efficiency of the Investment Support Team. This will involve ensuring processes are fit-for-purpose and developing the digital strategy with further integration of Salesforce
  • Mentor and support the development and nurture of talent within the team - encourage professional studies and be a role model for the Divisions core values of Openness, Energy and Teamwork
  • Ensure that Inclusion & Diversity is built in to and delivered through all aspects of work.

What we are looking for:

With an Investment background you will be experienced working in a fast-moving technical query environment. Including:
  • People management experience, ideally managing technical support specialists
  • Ability to deliver complex information clearly and succinctly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to evaluate investment performance data to be able to suggest appropriate investment solutions.
  • A pro-active mindset with strong initiative skills
  • QCA Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, ideally working towards QCA Level 6 Chartered Financial Planner Status or equivalent Investment based qualifications e.g. CISI, CFA.

Special Requirements:

The role may involve essential travel to help meet national objectives and may include overnight stays in both UK and Overseas hotels to help manage travel and diary planning. However, only essential travel will be undertaken and where meetings and support can be provided virtually, they should be. Evening work is a feature of this role but on a controlled and agreed basis only e.g. Presenting at a Client Event.
