When you step into SEI - anywhere in the world - you know you're not inside a traditional financial services company. Our open innovation spaces spur creativity, the provocative artwork inspires conversation, and the flexible work-life balance drives personal and professional growth. We are a place to inspire your work, build your voice, and grow your community. We're different. And we're proud of it.

Summary:

As one of the first commercial UK Master Trusts, the multiple award winning SEI Master Trust has continued to expand rapidly post authorisation and is increasingly becoming recognised as a leader in our field, continually improving everything that we do to successfully challenge the largest brands in UK Pensions.

We are looking for an additional person to join a highly experienced and motivated DC team. Your involvement as a DC Specialist will be wide and varied. Supported by your colleagues you'll learn new skills; sharing the workload, the success and all the rewards that come with it. Whether that's implementing proposition developments, engaging with clients or working with the Trustee, your fundamental goal will remain the same - to take actions every day that will help improve the retirement outcomes of our members.

You'll need to have some DC Pensions experience, but we'll help you hone your skills and get the most from the role whilst learning from some of the smartest people in our industry. Most importantly you'll need to be a team player who's happy to roll up their sleeves, remain flexible and be prepared to test yourself by doing things you may never have done before.

What you'll do:

As part of the team supporting the award winning SEI Master Trust you'll:
  • Be involved in governance work that helps the Trustee improve outcomes for members
  • Help the client managers roll out the latest proposition developments
  • Support our acquisitions team with aspects of our growth initiatives
  • Assist with the project management of various DC programmes

What you'll bring to the role:

Having worked for a pension provider, asset manager or consulting firm you'll:
  • Be familiar with DC pensions / Master Trusts
  • Have good organisational and analytical skills
  • Know how to manage projects effectively with project management qualifications and/or experience
  • Value variety and be willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
  • Hold an applicable industry qualification such as Investment Management Certificate (IMC) / equivalent or possess a commitment to complete such qualification

Attributes we value:
  • Ambitious with a willingness to listen, learn and continually improve
  • Happy to work outside of your comfort zone and do things never done before
  • Motivated by the opportunity to make a real difference to people's lives
  • Desire to be part of a team that wants to break new ground in UK pensions
