The Role: Financial Institutions Editorial Lead
The Location: New York; London

The Team: We are editors tasked with editing and publishing timely news and analysis focused on financial institutions, global insurance and private equity in markets across the world. The team has a global footprint, with editors in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Hong Kong, Pakistan, India and the Philippines.

The Impact: You will lead a team of more than 20 editors dedicated to publishing the best financial news and analysis in the marketplace. You will collaborate closely with reporters, analysts and other stakeholders to ensure we deliver timely content to our client, with a focus on quality.

Oversee a team of global editors tasked with publishing timely news articles and in-depth analysis.
Maintain S&P Global's high standards for quality and style.
Act as the primary relationship owner and single-point-of-contact within the editorial group for the financial sector.
Collaborate closely with cross-sector design and operations resources to support this content area.
Lead and support strategic initiatives to improve editorial operations, tools, process and people.
Provide effective feedback to writers and editors to help them grow in their roles.
Stay up to date with knowledge of covered financial sectors.
Expand technical expertise by learning evolving systems and platforms.

What We're Looking For:
Basic Qualifications:

8+ years of business journalism experience including proven track record of managing a large team.
Passion for the craft of editing and driving high editorial standards across your team.
Desire to grow your knowledge of the financial, insurance and private equity sectors.
Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and internal customers.
Excellent written and oral English-language skills.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $97.2k to $201.8k . Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
