The Desktop organization delivers the premier financial research & analysis platform that empowers our Capital Markets and Corporate clients to confidently make informed, data-driven investment and business decisions. The Desktop platforms serve a curated set of broad, deep and differentiated content with best-in-class workflow tools across multiple delivery channels (web, office, mobile, etc.)

The Program and Project Management lead will be a key member of the Desktop leadership team and will have accountability for the execution, evolution and refinement of our Desktop programs and processes. The role will be responsible for the definition, build out and refinement of the Desktop program/project and operations organization over the first year of the MI/FS merger including streamlining and building out a desktop program and project management organization and designing the optimal structure for outage and release management. This role will lead the definition of a revised business analyst program to enhance our desktop product delivery.
The role will also be responsible for ensuring process efficiency for the desktop. This includes streamlining desktop prioritization process, improving the product code creation/management processes and building out and refining the cross-business line/cross-division coordination. The role will be central in improving our regression and release coordination processes.

Key Accountabilities:
• Build out the desktop project and program management organization in the first year of the MI/FS merger. This will include collaboration across technology, commercial and existing operations groups to ensure streamlined operations on the desktop and reducing redundancies across the division.
• Own program management for the desktop, including coordination of broad desktop strategic programs and the streamlining prioritization and reporting processes
• Own and refine cross-business line desktop processes including maintenance and outage communications, cross-portfolio request management & governance, regression and performance management processes.
• Develop project management capabilities within the desktop to facilitate the delivery and coordination of cross-BL and broad desktop priorities.
• Own the product catalog, product portal and product code review and management processes until they have been made redundant (through OTC improvements.)
• Own tech debt and infosec remediation planning and coordination for the CIQ and CIQ Pro platforms. Own reporting and deliver of improvements related to product stability following incident RCAs.
• Deliver a proposal and execute on the agreed path regarding the reintroduction of business/data analysts within the Desktop
• Actively contribute to the division's annual strategy setting and business review processes
• Manage and develop a team of product managers to ensure continued growth and excellence in the Desktop product management organization.

• A seasoned leader with expertise building and running a project, program and operations groups for a desktop organization.
• Deep understanding of our product, the processes that govern it and a relentless drive to streamline and improve operations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
