Job Purpose Statement

In this role you will support the Front Office Investment Business to manage risk and safely deliver change. You will have an interest in technology and continuous improvement. You will work closely with Investment Professionals, Operational Risk, Business Management, Technology and Third-Party vendors, particularly BRS, providers of the Aladdin portfolio and order management system.

Role Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Head of Front Office Assurance and Oversight, Head of Investments' Business Management and Investments' Business Change Manager to understand the priorities of the Investment teams.
• Be a contact point for Investment Professionals, BRS and Technology throughout the different phases of implementing changes to the order management system (Aladdin).
• Undertake requirements gathering, analysis and operating model design associated with changes; coordinate business sign off, develop training and support documentation and determine implications for Aladdin user access permissions.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors on design and operating effectiveness of user access controls; conduct quarterly user reviews focussing specifically on any risk associated with different access combinations
• Work with Investments, risk associates and 3rd party vendors to monitor, design, test and implement systems-based controls.
• Ongoing monitoring of systems-based controls, investigating alerts and advising Investment Professionals on remediation required.
• Gather feedback from the Investments Professionals and other users of Aladdin to be used in quarterly review meetings with BRS.
• Work alongside the Investment Professionals, BRS and Operational Risk team in understanding root cause and corrective controls associated with any errors emanating from 3rd party vendors; monitor trends and escalate any systemic themes
• Work closely with counterparts in the US to establish global alignment
