Job Purpose Statement

In the role, you will support the funds in social impact analysis using CTI developed social impact methodology as well as general ESG assessments. You will deliver impact assessments of individual social impact bonds. The role will be client facing and will also interact with third parties such as bond issuers and social partners. There will be interaction with specifically distribution and CPMs for both RI and IG as well as more generally with other departments with fund analytics, reporting and presentation work for both existing and prospective clients.

Role Responsibilities

  • Work closely with other RI Portfolio Managers, RI team members, Financial Analysts and CPMs to produce analytics and marketing material including presentations / charts on the underlying Impact and ESG characteristics of individual holdings and aggregated across funds
  • Engagement with Issuers, clients and industry bodies (ICMA, Impact Investing Institute, IA, IMP)
  • Work with commentary team to ensure quality and content of specialist RI fund literature
  • Respond to data and information queries for RI funds
  • Work with RFP team as required on Fund prospects
  • Help support distribution channels for RI funds.

  • Uses intellect and progressive thinking to develop processes and solutions for the fast-developing impact assessment methodology.
  • Developed negotiation, organisation and communication skills
  • Ability with Excel / Bloomberg - to help produce complex data and graphical representations for Social Impact, ESG and Sustainable Outcomes Portfolios with a particular emphasis on Fixed Income Funds
  • RI capabilities including Social Impact and ESG assessment
  • Presentation and client facing capability
  • Proactive approach to support funds, fund managers and financial analyst.
  • Strong Interpersonal / communication / writing skills
  • Ideally an understanding of Fixed Income markets
  • Ability with Excel / Bloomberg - produce often complex graphs and analysis
