Wellington Management offers comprehensive investment management capabilities that span nearly all segments of the global capital markets. Our investment solutions, tailored to the unique return and risk objectives of institutional clients in more than 60 countries, draw on a robust body of proprietary research and a collaborative culture that encourages independent thought and healthy debate. As a private partnership, we believe our ownership structure fosters a long-term view that aligns our perspectives with those of our clients.

We are transitioning to a hybrid work environment where both remote work and the office play a critical role. Our vision is a future where all employees are empowered to work flexibly to drive the best outcomes for our clients. Flexible work is a mindset and a core value. Our employees are encouraged to work remotely two days a week as a standard practice and will have flexibility in terms of working hours.

The Position

The Senior Writer, EMEA will play a key role in helping Wellington meet the growing demand for professional-quality investment content across a variety of business lines and market segments. This position will focus on developing content for our clients in EMEA, across all asset classes for institutional and intermediary (Global Wealth) channels.

The Senior Writer, EMEA will partner with the EMEA Content Strategist, Senior Editor, Boston, other members of the EMEA-based editorial team, and members of the Sustainable Investing (SI) team to identify and produce SI content that specifically addresses areas of focus for EMEA, and its target audiences, with an eye to scale globally, or adapt global content locally.

The Senior Writer will join the Global Editorial Team, which includes writers based in Boston and London. Editorial is part of the Content Center of Excellence (COE) within Global Marketing. The Content COE includes teams dedicated to content strategy, writing/editing, social, search/content management, and creative design. The broader marketing group includes channel-focused marketing strategists, as well as operations and digital COEs. Global Marketing is highly collaborative, and the content creation process often involves brainstorming and feedback from peers both inside and outside Global Marketing. As a result, the role requires flexibility, effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
