Are you a qualified Accountant looking to make a move into a more commercial role?

This London based, global PE firm have just launched a brand new role in their corporate team for an ambitious Accountant to join them as a Finance Analyst - this is a fantastic opportunity for a Financial / Management Accountant to make the move from reporting into a commercial, business facing role.

Leading on the budgeting, forecasting and management reporting, this role will also play an integral part in the finance systems / dashboard usage within the company. Relying on your technical accounting prowess to effectively deliver to stakeholders, financial and non financial departments the critical financial data of the business.

Duties will include:
  • Business partnering with a share of budget holders to review spend versus budget and highlighting any anomalies
  • Responsibility for planning and executing the annual budget process on a timely basis
  • Responsibility for the Group's forecasting processes including monthly cash flow forecasting
  • Maintaining the quarterly management reporting model
  • Production of quarterly Management Information/Performance pack including headcount reporting
  • Maintain the accounting systems including acting as a point of contact for overseas/outsourced users. Actively driving the development of the Group's accounting processes and systems.
  • Lead on Concur/NAV report writing
  • Production of quarterly cost centre reports for the wider finance team
  • Responsibility for payments approval process
  • Act as additional cover for the wider finance team as required including during the annual audit process

Experience required:
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 2 years minimum PQE / industry experience
  • Demonstrate the confidence and ability to communicate complex data to various levels of stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of financial systems and experience working with large data sets
  • Ambitious, driven and collaborative character - this is a role with great responsibility and would suit an outgoing and proactive individual
  • Desire to work within a fast paced PE firm that is growing at a substantial rate
