As a Barclays CCO Controls Testing - BI Markets, you will work in partnership with a wide variety of stakeholders across CCO and multiple other teams to ensure minimum impact on business-as-usual activities. You will join an excellent, transformative and collaborative team at a very exciting period of growth. What will you be doing?
• Assisting the development of the Control Testing plan
• Articulating verbally and write Controls Testing reports with minimum supervision
• Delivering Controls Testing reviews in line with quality and timeline expectations - accountable for the accuracy of data in the Controls Testing Tool (CTT)
• Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, and represent the Controls Testing & Execution team in meetings, working groups etc., as required
• Actively working in partnership with a wide variety of stakeholders across CCO, Business Units and Functions, plus Risk teams and Internal Audit

What we're looking for:
• Undergraduate degree or relevant business experience
• Proven experience in one or more of the following: Internal/External Audit, Operational Risk Management or Risk and Control related discipline
• Experience of working in a Bank or Financial Services preferably in one or more areas of Markets E.g. Macro, Equities, Credit, Fixed Income Financing and Securitized Products
• Extensive knowledge of risk and control assessment techniques

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Specialist Risk and/or Control-related qualification - formal accreditation / qualification relating to audit, risk and/or control etc.
• Knowledge of the Financial Services regulatory environment

Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997.
We purchased the building from the landlord in early 2018 as a sign of our commitment to investment in Northampton. Plans to further develop this Campus-style location are under way to allow for a real collaborative work environment. Based just off the A45 it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
