Position Description:

As one of the world's largest asset managers and a leader in fixed income investing, partaking in Primary and Secondary bond issuance is pivotal to our business success. Our Issuance Platform technology team is leading the development of proprietary software that facilitates the internal workflows surrounding Primary and Secondary Market book building, fair distribution and ticketing.

We are seeking a passionate Software Developer to join our Technology Automated Trading team which will support the Issuance Platforms. The successful candidate will be an integral part in delivering on several software development projects whilst partnering with the front office and the broader technology organization to bring outstanding solutions in an agile construct.

Responsibilities:

• Development of in-house sophisticated issuance application suite
• Production support, triage and resolution of real time issues on highly available systems
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and partners across other technology teams in the organization to deliver outstanding solutions in an agile delivery construct
• Maintain and develop existing issuance application suite aligning with strategic technology initiatives and business value delivery

Position Requirements:

• 3+ years of software development experience in a financial services domain
• Strong programming and analytical skills
• Experienced in one of the following languages: Java, Python, and HTML
• Familiar with Oracle DB
• Financial industry knowledge required, investment management preferred
• Knowledge of FIX Protocol is helpful but not required
• Good interpersonal, partnership and communication skills and the ability to work well and engage with both technology and business colleagues
• Comfortable working independently or collegially to support peers across multiple time-zones
• BS/MS degree in a STEM / Computer Science related field
