IBD Talent Manager

The IBD Talent Manager will play a key role in the business unit they are supporting. This person will partner closely with bankers and HCM IBD Talent advisors to ensure the successful management and career progression of the junior banker population.
Responsibilities
  • Staffing and workload management
  • Skillset development tracking
  • Career management:
    • Reviews and ongoing feedback
    • Performance rating and compensation
    • Mobility
    • Promotion
    • Career coaching
    • Training needs
    • Vacation planning
  • Oversight of initiatives around junior banker workloads
  • Sharing of upward feedback regarding senior bankers
  • Oversight of summer analyst and summer associate intern programs
  • Social event plant
Additional Responsibilities
  • Coordination with HCM professionals to drive campus and junior lateral recruiting
  • Coordination with HCM Business Partners regarding talent management processes
  • Monitoring and coordinating with CARE, affinity networks and HCM to focus on progressing diversity
  • Work in close collaboration with BULs, senior bankers, other IBD talent managers
Qualifications
  • Vice President
  • 5+ years in professional services organization or relevant knowledge of professional services
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong balance of IQ and EQ with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage matrix of relationships
  • Good understanding of IBD and nature of banker job
