As a Barclays Treasury Operations Funding & Liquidity you will be providing Treasury and business units with projected funding requirements. You will be working as part of a function which play a critical role in helping the bank manage its funding and liquidity needs, supporting key business stakeholders.

What will you be doing?
• Providing funding projections and actual funding requirements to trading desks, resulting in the most efficient use on Firm cash balances
• Being responsible for cash consolidation and mobilisation across the network of cash and securities linked cash accounts within tight deadlines
• Funding analysis and investigation - causes of opening balances / costs
• Partnering with related Operations areas to implement best practices across Operations, avoiding repetition of errors, and driving down cost accordingly
• Supporting business lines by providing data to identify funding drivers and projection swings
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with related Front Office, Finance, IT and Operations areas
• Identifying, owning and managing projects/work-streams to optimise peak intraday liquidity usage at numerous Central Banks, Agent Banks and ICSDs around the globe
• Identifying initiatives for internal business line efficiencies to improve intraday liquidity management and usage

• Proven approach to control/risk management across processes

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Direct experience of the relevant business lines and processes including liquidity management, treasury, securities, financing, network management and collateral
• Business and operational knowledge including understanding what drives liquidity requirements
• Experience driving process reengineering and improvement
• Degree or equivalent, concentrating in Economics or Finance or equivalent experience
