YOUR IMPACT
Are you passionate about solving complex quantitative problems with a real world impact? Do you have what it takes to engineer the next generation risk management and execution platform in the firm's Securities Division?
We are looking for a professional to join the Systematic Trading Strategy (STS) Strat team. This person will hold a key front-office role responsible for developing trading strategies, risk management, execution and analytics tools for this fast growing business, working with trading, sales and other strategists.

The Strats business unit is a world leader in developing quantitative and technological expertise to solve complex business problems. Working within the firm's trading, sales, banking and investment management divisions, Strats use their mathematical and scientific training to create financial products, advise clients on transactions, measure risk, and identify market opportunities.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
  • Deliver direct commercial impact through developing and improving trading strategies and risk management
  • Exposure to various asset classes our clients transact in, with a focus on FX and Rates
  • Connectivity with traders, salespeople, and multiple areas of strategists
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Academic background in a quantitative or technical discipline
  • Advanced object oriented coding and software design skills
  • Understanding of financial math concepts, e.g. Black Scholes pricing
  • High standards for work quality, high level of rigor and discipline
  • Team player, learning from others as well as sharing knowledge, desire to keep improving communication effectiveness
  • Can apply an entrepreneurial approach and passion to problem solving and product development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in research and development of signals and systematic trading strategies
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of derivative pricing, preferably in space of FX and Rates derivatives
  • Knowledge of developing and supporting risk systems
