YOUR IMPACT

You will be a key addition to the Technology Risk Governance, Regulatory, and Controls (GRC) team which provides governance over various aspects of the firm's information security and cyber security program, ensures regulatory obligations are understood and achieved, through the development and monitoring of controls and risks. You will specifically respond to and support the firm's regulatory obligations and interactions with European regulatory agencies, and lead the EMEA Technology Risk governance forums. Goldman Sachs has one of the most progressive Technology Risk teams in the industry and is continuing to push the development of risk in preference to security within technology and the business. Year on year success has led the team to work deeper into the organization and gain valuable insights into how technology needs to function, what its risk really is and how this impacts the business.

HOW WILL YOU FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL?

Within GRC, you will be part of the Regulatory and External Engagements pillar, responsible for cyber security focused regulatory interactions across the global footprint. Your responsibilities will include preparing responses and materials for European regulatory requests and exams; developing materials for use in exams and formal inquiries; tracking interactions and reporting on thematic observations. You will interact with local and global teams responsible for ensuring relationships with external agencies are developed, observations from interactions are communicated to influence strategic direction, and participate in industry groups shaping legislation. In addition, you will lead the EMEA regional Technology Risk governance forums, including managing the agendas, materials, and tracking action items. This will be an opportunity to leverage your experience in the financial industry, consider how risk management plays an important role in communication, think about how regulatory obligations will impact the firm, and develop a strong understanding of the firm's information security controls and program.
