Are you a Financial Crime Risk professional who enjoys applying your knowledge and expertise to regulatory frameworks, operating model management and change initiatives? This could be the role for you.

As a key member of our Financial Crime Risk division, you will work closely with the regional leadership team to deliver to a range of initiatives, including:

Financial Crime Risk (FCR) Regulatory Change:
  • Assessment and impact analysis of regulatory change for the UK and broader EU
  • Supporting MLROs in region on assessment of local regulatory change and impact to the risk programme
  • Tracking FCR regulatory change initiatives across relevant EMEA jurisdictions, including input to internal Change Forums
  • Communicating impact of regulatory change to internal stakeholders

Financial Crime Risk Framework and Operating Model:
  • Responsible for supporting the development of the EMEA framework (policies, procedures, standards, target operating model), implementation of the framework enhancements and oversight of the day-to-day effectiveness of FCR operational procedures
  • Application to the enhancement of EMEA's key financial crime risk framework elements
  • Responsible for coordination of regional input to the global FCR programme, including first point of contact for framework initiatives and enhancements
  • First point of contact for support and advice on the EMEA framework to dual-hatted MLROs across region

Management Information & Reporting:
  • Regular and ad-hoc scoping and production of reporting
  • Coordination of team meeting and Regional Forum schedule and content

Training and Monitoring & Assurance and Risk Assessment
  • Support coordination and implementation of the strategy and framework for training and monitoring & assurance
  • Support development of a risk-based training delivery plan for the region

To thrive in this role, you will have a minimum of 5 years working for a financial services institution, or a law firm or consultancy servicing the financial services industry. Alongside:
  • Knowledge of local regulations, legislation and best practice and internal best practice.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and products in institutional banking and trading
  • Ability to interact and communicate with different levels of employees
  • Proactive in approach to stakeholder engagement and management, uses initiative to meet with stakeholders and build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Consultative approach to providing advice to stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and risk assessment skills
  • Client focused with persuasive communication skills both written and verbal, confidence in being challenged.
  • Self-motivated, detailed oriented and well-organised. Ability to prioritise workflows and ensure deadlines are met.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
