Do you have experience of measuring and analysing market risk and trading performance across a variety of financial products?

Are you experienced in managing counterparty credit risk for insurance, hedge fund and fund portfolios?

You will have substantial experience in the financial industry and be available until Nov 2022.

Experience in credit risk, legal documentation and regulations

In-depth product knowledge of financial market products

In-depth knowledge of discounted cash flow and relative valuations for credit risk assessments

In-depth knowledge of legal documentation (LMA, ISDA/CSA. GMRA. GMSLA etc)

The main responsibilities for the role are:
  • Leading risk challenge for insurance portfolio:
  • Expert on insurance sector, including key risks and trends
  • Expertise on banking products and their use by the insurance sector
  • Providing challenge to annual reviews and transaction requests, preparing advice for senior mandate approvers and committees
  • Approving internal ratings, demonstrating familiarity with internal models and policies
  • Leading risk challenge for hedge fund and fund portfolio
  • Expert on sector, including key risks and trends
  • Leading due diligence calls with counterparties, often with senior management, ensuring all required key information is received
  • As above with insurance, providing challenge to reviews and transactions, and approving internal ratings
  • Liaising with global colleagues for global sector overviews as necessary
  • Approving internal ratings
  • Good knowledge of documentation (LMA, ISDA/CSA. GMRA, GMSLA)
  • Good knowledge of financial market products (derivatives, structured trades etc)
